Its a good idea to have the robot.text file inside your webroot for a week or so first
So that the spiders that are alread indexing your site read whats in your robots.text before hand
That way you will not deny the good ones ACCESS once you set up your .htaccess and getout.php files
I hope that makes since.
Once a scammer looks inside the getout.php file they are added to a denied list and inside the .htaccess file,
you are then sent an email notification with there ip address and access link.
The spider is then presented with thousands of misleading and nonreal email address to scan.
