How To Custom Your Shipping Module

Here's an exmple:

"...I need photograph (product id) 5421 adding 3 dollars extra box fee when using USPS module for U.S. and 6 dollars for outside India. I have some questions for you. What do I need to do for adding other photographs? How can I change the handling fee?"

This is a typical customization. Only need to change USPS to add two new functions, when product ID 5421 is in cart then charge $3 or $6 depending on shipping address is U.S., India, or outside India (not U.S.).

Such customization usually costs $45. The more complex the shipping rules are, the higher customization fee will be charged, however, no more than $150. If you got a money making online store, this cost will be quickly covered by increased customers satisfaction and lowered shipping cost.
