It is NOT difficult to install. About 40 files needs to be uploaded; 1 files may conflict with your zen cart system. Database changes are required, but it can be done automatically.

If you are an experience coder, it takes about 0.5 to 1 hours to complete the implementation, including installation, testing or some debug. If you are not experienced with PHP and Zen Cart, it may take 1 to 2 hours.

This contribution allows you to have a dynamic gallery with lighbox support in your Zen Cart.
All you have to do is upload images with the admin gallery uploader and voila! Your image is added to the gallery.
No code knowledge needed, no nothing.

I threw this together so that I could use it on several of my Zen Cart sites. I thought it may be useful to others.
I may provide limited support though realize that this has not been thourougly tested and it is recommended that you try to install it on a test site before installing it on a developed site.

I wish I could attribute all the work to myself but I used two other addons to create this one:

This version of Lightbox Gallery has been designed for use with Zen Cart 1.3.8a.

Though I cannot demo the upload portion, its fairly standard php uploader, you can view the gallery with modified theme at the following link

A few features I'm interested in adding in the future:

1. Along with the uploader I would like to make it so images can be deleted from the gallery.
2. Make it so that the images are connected to the captions.txt file, allowing you to change the image captions in the admin area without editing the captions.txt file.
