Project Description
WE are looking to create us a Wizard based Data Import Tool to Import Data from a CSV File into Zencart MySQL based Database. The Tool can be done in any language of your choice and would include a Mapping Tool that will allow us to Map Data fields and Attributes to the Zencart Database. The Import tool would ADD or UPDATE if the Product already exists.
The design and implementation has to be open ended to allow for Future enhancements to the CSV File. Common examples of this would be a New Attribute for a product.
Sample Data fields that we will be looking to map from CSV to Zencart to include the following. This is not a DEFINITIVE LIST. Details will be finalized once the Project is commenced.

# Ability To Match up the Attributes like Finish, Diameter, Back Set from the Excel to Zencart for Upload - The ideal script would allow us to Browse for an Excel or CSV file and allow up to match up the Columns in the Excel to the Product related and Attribute related fields in Zencart for an upload. For example, we would map the Finish column in Excel to the Finish Attribute in Zencart. If the Option value being imported in already in Zencart it would be mapped to it or else a New Option value will be created and then mapped to it. It will also include ab
# Ability To assign Multiple categories. Assign Categories 1, Categories 2, categories 3 for a Product.
# Ability to add variances for Attributes with + or - Values. This would allow us to include in the excel an variances in Prices associated
Also Will be Implemented an Ajax search that will drop results once a user will start typing in the search box. The drop will show Product Name, Thumbnail and the Price. They will be able to click on See all Results that will take the user to the search results on that search. Further Details once a bidder is selected.
