I am looking for a well experienced website designer to design and implement my website used to sell a line of printer accessories.
Initially, design work will be required on 2-3 labels to be used on packaging the product, so graphics design experience is a must. This is to be done BEFORE the design of the website is to take place. Also required is the design of a simple 1 page, double sided product brochure (letter or legal size).
The Website will consist of 2 components:
1)a Professional, Hi-Tech looking informational component which introduce and describes the product, outlines features, lists compatible models (maybe includes a model search function which links to the compatible product in the store component of the site), as well as list of dealers, with a online dealer application section. Also we will need downloadable .PDF of the product brochure designed earlier, as well as a contact us section which allows users to send us messages directly through the website. This component of the website will need some good looking pictures. Some graphics or flash work may be required on the banner and/or the pictures on the website.
2)Online-Store: The e-store component of the site must be fully functional, and I don't want it look like a stock OSC or Zencart store... has to look and feel like a professionally designed, custom job. I have some ideas, and some sites we can use as reference, however, the right individual MUST be creative, as I don't have a blueprint of the site for you to follow. Once again, creative experience is a real asset. The store component should be also clean and easy to navigate. Furthermore, we may require a log-in which can identify an approved dealer vs a regular customer, that will give different (wholesale) pricing for the dealer, but require dealer to meet certain MOQ for each shipment. For regular online shoppers, the e-store must be easy to navigate, clean looking, and very easy to use. All the regular functions/boxes of a regular OSC or Zencart store is expected. Also one function I may want to explorer is an affliate program for the dealers, which will allow the dealer to refer customer to my site for a commission on each sale, but we'll see how that goes after we get started, as I'm open to your ideas on that one. Also I will need some SEO work done on the site.
I tried to be as detailed as possible (it looks like alot of information, but it is really quite straight forward) in describing this project in hopes to attract only the right individuals who has the experience and skill required to do a good job. I must mention that I do have high expectations so if you cannot deliver, please don't apply.
