Hi,

My customers are getting the error "CURL ERROR: 7 socket error: 110" when they try to make a purchase. The checkout confirmation page simply times out.

I've done a bit of reading and this seems to be because my hosting plan/ssl is with GoDaddy.

For Zencart there is a solution in admin/config/my store to enter
"cURL Proxy Status"
"cURL Proxy Address"

In Oscommerce there is no such thing. I need to set these values to 'true' and "proxy.shr.secureserver.net:3128"

I'm using a bank payment module (anz e-gate) which is merchant hosted (hence the ssl).

Need someone to make this work for me.

I've tried inserting the following into the payment module php:

curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_PROXYTYPE, CURLPROXY_HTTP);
curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_PROXY,"http://
proxy.shr.secureserver.net:3128");

But then I get this error:

Please help.
