I am a php website developer. I am currently working on a project, but I am looking for someone to assist in the custom Gallery modules. I do not have the time to become an expert in Smarty or Gallery. I have two modules that need to be expanded upon. My Gallery version is 2.3.
I need a module for Gallery for Location Fields. The module will have five fields:
Location, for generic information like a street name, corner, or physical address.
City, name of the city, of course.
State, no surprise here, this will be a drop down box that can be filter off the next field.
Country, default will be the United States.
Date, date the pictures in the album were taken.
These are tied to the albums only.
For the state and country fields I had planned to use the zencart tables and java script that I have used in the past for php projects.
I would also like to display this location information on the gallery pages under the albums, also along the side when looking at the album view. I also need a custom search for locations, with separate fields on the search for the location fields, as well as a date range.
For the most part this should be a simple module to create. I will be happy to answer any questions anyone has. The second module I have will be an expansion on an existing module, and if the first module is done well and in a timely manner, we can discuss the second.
