Description:
We are a media company located in Denver, Colorado and are looking to add a customized promotional feature onto our Xoops CMS-based website under construction. Our company seeks a strong programmer who is familiar with Xoops and has strong communications skills, including daily use of messenger programs such as ICQ, AIM, MSN to discuss on-going work with us.
The module should link up with our users' accounts in the Xoops database to allow them to choose from a series of many promotional options (within a graphical interface compatible with our site...we have in-house graphic designers to help with this), and then track the status of their promotions from sign-up to completion as the user redeems his/her points in a store based on our site. An example of a site that uses this type of setup can be found at pokersourceonline.com although our project will be PHP-based and have unique features and design.
When a user chooses a promotion, there are a set of requirements and an amount of promotional points allocated when the user meets those final requirements -- our site editors will require the module to have a nice graphical interface on the admin end so that they can work with participants -- our editors should be able to allocate points, move our users status as they complete requirements and be able to have all the info related to a user's status.
The final part of the project is a customization of a store for our promotions to link to our users points account (we have osCommerece Xoops module, ZenCart and osCommerce full installed on our servers) to allow our users to redeem their promotions points for products (we deal only with promotional points, no currency transactions will occur.) Upon redemption, the user will be able to see the status of their shipment and their allocated points will be deducted from their account.
Impressive work on this project will open the possibility for bonuses as well as future work as our company grows. We look forward to hearing the proposals and to working toward a creative solution.
